Hi, I'm Daniel Kratz
I run cybersecurity risk assessments that map the systems and processes at your business most exposed to attack. From there, I build a practical plan for before and after a breach: how you prepare going in, and how you respond and recover once something happens. That plan also gets you ready for compliance audits like SOC 2, HIPAA, and PCI.
I bring over 20 years of experience building infrastructure and running the networking and security programs behind organizations ranging from established enterprises to high-growth SaaS companies with stringent security requirements. In one such role, I authored the security policies and incident response plan behind a successful SOC 2 certification, built on NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO 27001-aligned controls, and led biannual tabletop exercises to test incident readiness. I hold a Master's degree in Information Security & Assurance with a Cybersecurity and Compliance focus and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, most recently completing graduate-level programs in AI-Driven Leadership (Stanford University) and Cloud Computing (University of Texas at Austin). I'm a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), Google Cloud Digital Leader, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
Because I work directly with every client, there's no hand-off to junior staff and no account-manager layer between you and the person doing the work. You get direct access to the expertise you're paying for.
